U-Turn, perched high above Park Avenue provides a great adventure in Arches. The canyon in well suited to beginners, and provides unparalleled views of the park. This is a great route year around, but best done in the evenings during the hottest times of the year. The approach gully goes into the shade several hours before sunset, making evening approaches pleasant in the summer.

Went through 3/29/11, all anchors were intact. The final rappel has a bolted anchor to the right that has a near 100 foot rap that is leaving bad rope grooves. A much better option is to do the final rap as described by Ryan. There was no anchor here when we went down and we were lured into using the bolts. Plenty of boulders to anchor onto to rap the 60 ft corner, just bring webbing and a quick link.
