Reverse hand prints in Lower Fish Creek

Reverse hand prints in Lower Fish Creek

Lower Fish Creek is a hike I enthusiastically recommended to friends asking for suggestions for Cedar Mesa hikes. It has some very good ruins, and phenomenal reverse hand panels. It used to be a bit of a thrash to visit, as the normal trail was up the bottom of the tamarisk filled creek bed. In recent years the BLM has constructed a trail that makes this a much more pleasant hike!

This is a fantastic hike with great scenery. The reasonable short, in-and-out route make it very suitable to those looking for a shorter hike. The ambitious can wander up Lower Fish Creek for a long distance.
