Hype:

Tabernacle Hill has some really interesting lava tubes to explore and climb around in. Couple that with easy access and interesting geology all around, and you have a great short adventure.

My History:

Cristina and I tried to locate the lava tubes with vague directions in the Spring of 2007. After a fruitless attempt, we went back to Meadow and asked one of the locals. They gave us great directions, and we spent the afternoon checking out the lava tubes.
