GEAR: Small pack, it's narrow.

WATER: Generally avoidable.

FLASH FLOOD DANGER: Moderate, but you can see the whole drainage and skies on the approach.

SEASON: Any.

Munchkin is the Lucky Charms of Oz. Short and non-technical, it is a nice casual romp available to most, and a nice way to spend a couple of hours.

I did Munchkin with Kent Beverly and Penny Martens back in 2005. A fun non-technical hike to the beautiful main section of Trachyte.
