Hype:
Conundrum is a great, short, photogenic canyon to do when in
your in the North Wash area and have a couple of hours to kill.
I would not consider it a destination canyon... don't make a
special trip for this one, or you are likely to be
disappointed.
My History:
I had seen pictures of Conundrum a few years ago, and had an
idea it was in North Wash area. After looking around for it a
bit, then forgetting about it, I got re-interested in it in the
fall of 2006. I was headed out on a solo trip, and decided to
look for it one more time. A scan of the maps showed a likely
candidate, which turned out to be correct. Since then, I have
been through it a couple of times.
