RAPPELS: 0-4 to 15 m ( 50 ft )
WATER: Varies, but can be quite a bit.

Hype:

Cheesebox, one of my first technical canyons, still holds a special place in my heart. The canyon is relatively easy, beginner friendly, and offers either several challenging down climbs, or short rappels. The scenary is second to none. This is a canyon that every technical canyoneer should be sure is on their hit list. The west fork is the most commonly visited, and is outstanding. The east fork, on the other hand, is a bit of an approach to get to, and not quite as spectacular as a canyon, but holds a great ruin and is well worth visiting.

My History:

I've been through the west fork several times, and the east fork once over the years. Cheesebox was one of my first technical canyons, and is still a favorite.
